This modular design house in Madrid, currently under construction, has been created in collaboration with the AUNA Arquitectos studio. Professionals in the world of architecture who turned to inHAUS to find solutions to an initially complicated project.
From inHAUS we received this project assuming the strict specifications and the needs regarding time and design, both of the final client, and AUNA Arquitectos to trust us as a construction company and architects in collaboration of the project.
A total of 459 m² built on the ground floor. Its distribution is designed for a family to live together, respecting the individuality and way of life of each member. A total of three complete en-suite bedrooms, each with a dedicated reading area. A compact housing programme, for which a basement with a leisure area and gymnasium was proposed as a solution to the work below ground level.
A projection towards the exterior to make the most of the views and with a cinema room included.

An interior brimming with personality and individuality
The compact ‘O’-shaped layout of this home is a clear reflection of the client’s way of life. A programme that includes a cinema room and three complete suites where each member has their own rest, reading and leisure areas, as well as a dressing room and bathroom.
This allows each member of the house to have total independence, thus allowing the coexistence of the different lifestyles of the members.
In addition, the house is open to the outside as much as possible, in order to take advantage of the views. A dining-living room open to the kitchen is the centre of the house.
Inside, we find a strong materiality in contrasts, including dark tones in the furniture and light tones on the walls and floors to enhance the light.
Collaboration process with AUNA Architects
The project was solved technically together with AUNA Arquitectos, in addition to being in constant contact with the final client.
Before starting the project, we dedicated a period of mutual knowledge so that AUNA could understand our construction system. We also presented the solutions that we could contribute to the project, especially with regard to the execution time, one of the most important variables in this case.
In addition, we were also able to get to know the studio’s way of working and we established a relationship of trust as architects and builders.

The modules of this high-end prefabricated house travelled by lorry to Boadilla del Monte, Madrid.

Victoria Santiago, architect at AUNA architects
We interviewed Victoria Santiago, an architect at AUNA Arquitectos, who chose Casas inHAUS as the construction company for her project.
Victoria highlights that the two reasons why they chose inHAUS were the guarantee of having a tight deadline and a closed price, as well as the consequent financial advantages of delivering the built house in only 6 months.
Victoria adds in the interview:
“One of the main reasons for choosing inHAUS was to have a limited price and deadline, as we know that in traditional construction the deadline is never certain. In the end, it is not the same for financial reasons to have a house delivered in 2 years than in 6 months.“
