Limits only exist until you decide to cross them. 

2023 was a year of expansion, confidence and, above all, validation. That year, we took a decisive step in our internationalisation: Germany.

After months of work, we launched a specific strategy to open up the market with German architects, incorporating specialised profiles in each department. And the effort paid off. We signed our first inHAUS property in Germany, a house in Frankfurt measuring over 700 m² that marked a turning point. It was confirmation that our model, born in Valencia, could compete — and stand out — in one of the most demanding markets in the world.

But 2023 was also a year of design.

We expanded our catalogue with 26 new models, each designed for an increasingly sophisticated clientele: homes with spacious, fluid spaces, interior courtyards, large porches, gym areas, studies or libraries… A catalogue that reflected the maturity of the high-end client who was increasingly knocking on our doors and demanding more than just a house: a complete architectural experience.

And since we don’t like to keep our ideas to ourselves, we published our book ‘11×11 of modular architecture’, a compilation of projects and reflections that show what it means to design and build in a single process. We presented it in several cities in Spain, and it was a pleasure to see how colleagues and students approached it with genuine curiosity to understand how we had managed to industrialise architecture without losing its soul.

2023 was also a year for sharing knowledge.

We saw how the sector was beginning to move, to wake up. We came across the same companies at events, with the same clients, with the same challenges… and we thought it was time to get together, to talk, to look each other in the eye.

This is how Building Beyond Boundaries was born, an initiative promoted by inHAUS to bring together companies in the industrialised construction sector. It was not a conference or a trade fair; it was an honest, face-to-face meeting between those of us who were literally building the future of architecture. And given how things stand today, we were not wrong in thinking that this was going to go further.

In terms of recognition, 2023 was an exceptional year.

We received the Valencia SME of the Year Award 2023, the Built Design Awards and, to top it all off, the prestigious German Design Award 2024. This last award definitively opened the doors to the German market for us and put us on the international map of design and architecture.

Looking back, 2023 was the year we stopped talking about “growth” and started talking about “expansion”.

A year in which every achievement, every partnership and every project reinforced the idea that has always driven us: that modular architecture can be synonymous with excellence.

And the best part is that this was not a point of arrival, but rather the starting point for a new phase.
