Single-storey residential project on a 900 m² plot. Designed as a retirement home for a couple with very clear ideas about their future home. From the outset, the clients had a clear idea of the layout and type of spaces they wanted, and the inHAUS team helped them translate this into a coherent, elegant and functional architectural proposal.

 

With a built area of 248 m² and an L-shaped volume, the house is rationally organised around the living area. This area projects outwards and blends into the swimming pool and terraces through large windows and a pergola that provides protection from the sun. This indoor-outdoor connection is one of the cornerstones of the project: the house is designed to be lived in outdoors.

 

The materiality of the project responds to the Mediterranean style sought by the clients. A white single-layer façade, lattices that filter the light and provide privacy, and a careful selection of materials.

The outdoor spaces, meticulously designed in the urban project.

 

The L-shaped design embraces a large terrace with a chill-out area and swimming pool, creating a controlled void that concentrates outdoor living. A latticework acts as a visual filter around the perimeter, providing privacy and evoking a sense of refuge without sacrificing openness. The succession of porches and overhangs creates a play of shadows that protects from the Mediterranean sun. At the same time, it frames the views, creating a serene atmosphere where interior and exterior merge naturally.

 

The house has an auxiliary building and a comprehensive interior design and urbanisation project also designed by inHAUS. This advantage guarantees aesthetic and functional coherence throughout the entire project.

A spacious and attractive layout

The interior design is understated and elegant, with materials playing a key role. In this project, special attention has been paid to the cladding of specific rooms, using materials carefully selected by the clients themselves. Clients who wanted to incorporate finishes with which they have a direct connection. This gesture gives the home an even more personal character, making each space an expression of the lifestyle of those who live there.


Inside, the spaces flow in a clean and practical layout. The living-dining room is spacious and open-plan, directly connected to the kitchen. The kitchen has a separate utility and laundry area. Three bedrooms complete the layout, one of which is en-suite with a private bathroom and dressing room. A large storage room has also been provided as extra storage space.
