Custom design for a sunny courtyard house

Comfort and functionality in this modular house

Customised design

A completely bespoke house breaks into an important residential area of Valencia. The initial project began with the Formentor model from the 111 Collection. But the versatility of the modular design by inHAUS and the construction system developed by the firm made it possible to introduce all the modifications desired by the owners. Thus, it ended up being a 100% customised house.

This single-family home has an L-shaped floor plan that generates a porch designed for solar protection. It is modern design at the service of habitability. In addition, these L-shaped forms are enhanced to emphasise the lines of the façade, to which it confers an elegant rhythm.

The house presents its Mediterranean style through white single-layer mortar façade finishes, with the presence of technological woods in the garage plinth.

This prefabricated house in Valencia consists of six industrialised modules that make up the first floor where the rooms are distributed.

On the other hand, the lower floor has been built in the traditional way, but with the necessary specifications to make it compatible with the inHAUS industrialised system.

This lower floor is integrated into the façade, saving the slope, with finishes in wood tones, which even allow a better adaptation to the wooded surroundings of the house.

The kitchen has neutral tones and floor-to-ceiling cupboards for optimum use of space. In this case, the kitchen is not open to the living-dining room, with a central island. The choice of materials for the kitchen, and other rooms, is one of the most attractive moments for the owners of the house.

The customisation of an inHAUS modular home

Design inspired by our catalogue

In one of the first modifications and designs of the project, it was detected that the clients had been inspired by a model of modular house from our new 111 catalogue, the Mas Camarena model.

Based on this model, some aspects of the house were customised to suit the clients’ tastes, as well as solving problems with the morphology of the plot. We opted for an exterior and interior design in the Mediterranean style, a classic of our modular houses. An L-shaped floor plan layout was also proposed.

This high-end prefabricated house was a challenge when it came to dealing with the uneven terrain of the plot. It was decided to build a garage at the bottom of the house to raise the house to ground level. The result is incredible, as you can see.

The main materials that have been used to shape this design are monolayer and technological wood, developed mainly on the first floor.

Planimetry and layout

Comfort at one level

This high-end modular house in Valencia has two floors. The lower level, which is not modular, has been built in traditional concrete and houses the garage, which is accessed by a lift. This level manages to resolve a slope of 4.5 metres on the plot.

The first floor houses the rooms and spaces that meet the specifications of the owners with two well differentiated wings, including the guest wing. It also revolves around an interior courtyard with plants, reminiscent of biophilic design.
