Customised house with prefabricated concrete pool

This is a prefabricated house in Valencia with a difference. Customised 100% to the taste of its owners. This architect's house, designed practically to measure, although inspired by various models from the inHAUS catalogue, ends up forming a magical ensemble. After its success, it became one of our catalogue houses, the Sitges model. It consists of two floors that form a cantilever (upper floor) over another cantilever (lower floor) that is perched on the rough terrain.

The technical difficulty of creating this set of volumes almost floating in the air was overcome by the inHAUS LAB design team and the benefits and features offered only by the EMOHA modular construction system.

Finally, the naturalness with which the technical challenges were resolved almost makes another fundamental milestone anecdotal: the installation of a concrete swimming pool, completely prefabricated, which was installed on the same morning as the house. A structure with an overhang of almost 9 metres and weighing 15 tonnes, it adds personality to the whole.

Located in a residential area near Valencia, this house was mainly based on the La Cañada model. But with multiple modifications. What makes it somewhat peculiar are the touches of colour on the outside. Cheerful tones reminiscent of the motifs of Mexican celebrations, at the express wish of its owners. Becoming our Sitges catalogue model.

With 249 m2 of constructed area over two floors. And with another very important novelty. Casas inHAUS has already installed two prefabricated swimming pools in two of its latest houses. But this time the pool has been manufactured in-house. Made of concrete, 100 % with inHAUS technology. A large 12-metre long pool, supported by powerful pillars. As if suspended in the air. An infinity pool with a view of the horizon. Casas inHAUS does not make projects with just one pool, but offers with its houses different pool options that complete a comprehensive service. Different solutions for the most demanding client.

A large kitchen-living-dining room leads to an L-shaped terrace and the swimming pool. All of this is situated at street level and the main entrance, on a plot with a very steep slope.

Such a peculiar plot has a notable effect on the house. Access is from the upper part of the plot, via a walkway to the front door. The entrance is therefore on the first floor. And this first floor houses the day area (kitchen, dining room and living room), as well as the master suite. The swimming pool and terraces are accessed from this level.

The lower floor, located in the lower part of the sloping plot, has the rest of the bedrooms and rooms, such as a laundry room and a second living room dedicated to leisure and games. This O-shaped house sits on a 1,800-metre plot with an imposing grove of trees. The kitchen and living-dining room area totals 55 square metres, while the master bedroom, plus its bathroom and large dressing room, occupies 32 square metres. The day area has 99 square metres, including the hall, toilet and pantry.

The ground floor, on the other hand, has 103 square metres, for another three bedrooms and bathrooms, living room-staircase (30 metres), study, storage room and gallery-laundry room. Thus, this prefabricated house in Valencia is completed by more than 40 metres and a swimming pool with almost 30 square metres of water surface.

A 100% custom-built house designed by inHAUS that was born from several catalogue models. The first modular house in which a prefabricated concrete swimming pool with a large overhang was installed. The difficulties of a steeply sloping site were overcome by the EMOHA modular construction system and installation experience.
