The winners of the IV inHAUS International Modular Architecture Competition have been the projects that competed with the slogans Casa Onírica (category of less than 200 m2), Casa Flexo (from 200 to 350 m2), Sistema Piano V.02 (more than 350 m2 ) and Pétra (Best Porcelanosa Kitchen Award). The four special mentions of the jury are for Casa Hyoko, Pentahouse, Module Mule and Laminar House. The special prize from the public falls on the Inpluvium proposal.

The professional jury of the IV edition of the inHAUS International Modular Architecture Competition was made up of Aurel Aebi, co-founder of Atelier Oï (La Neuveville, Switzerland); María Rojo, director of Singular Projects at Atelier Jean Nouvel Madrid; Amparo Roig, partner of the ERRE Architecture studio, and Pepe García, designer and co-founder of CuldeSac.

SPECIAL MENTION

The members of this international jury decided among all the aspiring projects and highlighted the high quality of the proposals received. The level of the candidacies has experienced a jump with respect to the first previous editions, according to the secretariat of the contest. This qualitative increase is attributed to a greater degree of knowledge of the sector of architectural design and modular construction. This evolution is attributed to a certain extent to the dissemination work that inHAUS assumes as one of its main missions and to which other firms from the modular, industrialized and prefabricated housing sectors also contribute.

Among the award-winning house designs, all coincide in the high graphic quality of their presentation. Among other elements, the jury of the IV edition has valued elements such as the capacity for growth in different scales of the functional program; the interior-exterior relationship; the transition through the patios of the different functional uses; the development of functional schematics to understand the project; the adaptation of original forms to the modular system of growth, and the use of the patio to articulate spaces.

The adaptation to the modular system and the capacity for modular growth have been other of the most valued common points.
