CID awards premio 2026

Casa Marratxí, has been recognised at the 2026 CID Awards (Coverings Installation & Design Awards), cementing its reputation beyond the national stage.

These are international awards presented as part of Coverings, the leading trade fair for the ceramic and natural stone sector in North America, held annually in Las Vegas. These awards recognise projects from around the world for their creativity, quality of execution and ability to explore new applications for materials such as tiles, ceramics and stone in architecture and interior design.

International recognition that validates
the use of ceramics in architecture

The jury, comprising specialist editors and industry professionals, assessed a range of residential, institutional and commercial projects, recognising those that stood out for their excellence in design and execution. The categories were divided into design, installation and special recognition.

Casas inHAUS has received a special mention in the International Design category for Casa Marratxí, located in Mallorca. This international recognition reinforces Casas inHAUS’s position within a global context. The integration of ceramics into this architectural project has been validated.

Casa Marratxí, the recipient of this award

In this project, ceramic tiles play a leading role in the architectural design. They have been used for continuous flooring and wall cladding both inside and outside the home. Their large-format application serves not only as a covering but also as a decorative element in the interior design of the kitchen, bathrooms and other spaces.

Furthermore, their high durability ensures minimal maintenance in everyday use.

The selection of large-format porcelain tiles, combined with advanced technical solutions, reinforces the build quality and the material’s potential within industrialised systems. It helps to enhance the overall quality and consolidate the material’s potential within industrialised systems.

A project recognised both
nationally and internationally

Casa Marratxí has thus achieved another international milestone, having also been awarded the Architecture Prize – Subcategory A-a at the ASCER Ceramics Awards.
